Tilsit's delicate taste, creamy texture and spicy flavor combine the best German traditions. The most characteristic feature is a uniform light yellow color. Best paired with dry white Silvaner wine and red wines with rich fruity notes (Merlot, Shiraz, Pinotage).
The pleasant bitterness of the cheese is best revealed in combination with herbs, vegetables, strawberries, red currants, raspberries and blueberries, as well as rich red wines.
