Cesvaine's Red Cheddar has an orange hue given by a natural color, a sour cheesy flavor with nutty notes and a pleasant scent. Moderately dense, without holes, cheese is perfect for making various sandwiches (sandwiches, burgers, hot, canapes). It melts well and can be used in casseroles, pizzas, sauces and soups. Its bright color looks good when sliced. It should be served with wines with fruit and berry notes, fortified wine or vermouth. It goes well with any kind of beer. It is an excellent source of calcium, phosphorus, selenium, vitamin A and group B. Cesvaine manufactures dairy products from cow's milk. Cheese has been produced in Cesvaine for a long time. In 1913, cheese from a local estate received a gold medal for taste at the World's Fair in Paris. The first dairy plant was opened in 1921. Now 38 local farms supply milk to the production. 100 years of experience allows the company to produce quality products for export.
