Product description from producer

In 1939, Gustav Kleinman, a carpenter from Vienna, and his sixteen-year-old son Fritz were captured by the Gestapo and later sent to the Buchenwald concentration camp. They miraculously survive the Nazis' brutal abuse. But later, death creeps closer to them: Gustav finds out that he is being sent to Auschwitz, and for Fritz, letting his father go is unthinkable. Desperate to be together, the young man makes a crazy choice - he insists that he must go too. For the Nazis, this decision is easy, because one death camp is no different from another. During six years of horror and immeasurable suffering, only one thing keeps them alive: love and hope for the future.
