An intense red wine. The broad bouquet is rich in ripe fruit and blueberry jam. Fruity aromas on the tongue; cherry is felt first, followed by ripe fruit, plums and a final unobtrusive note of vanilla. Soft with a round, warm body and a lingering aftertaste. Pairs well with first courses, rich sauces, pork, game, lamb and aged cheeses.
