The whiskey has been aged in first and second fill sherry casks and bottled at 54.5% ABV to fully showcase its true individuality and character. The bouquet of the drink reflects notes of sandalwood cigar box tobacco, lemon oil, ginger root and hints of menthol. The taste is rich and unobtrusive, with motifs of candied orange covered in dark chocolate, candied ginger pieces, muscovado sugar syrup, ginger cake with dates, sweet smoke and dried autumn fruits. The finish is long, sweet and spicy with notes of toffee with molasses, smoky black tea, and dark brown sugar.
