Coriander is one of the oldest spicy plant. It is spicy tasteful and palatable. In cooking coriander is used for confectionery and bakery aromatization. It is added to the first and second courses, gravies, sauces, salads, vegetable dishes, added for vegetable canning, and mushroom marinades.

Насіння коріандру - прекрасна пряність для ароматизації сиру, ковбас, м'ясних і рибних консервів, маринадів, солінь, лікерів і деяких сортів пива. Жування зерен коріандру уповільнює процес сп'яніння і зменшує запах алкоголю. В кориандрі міститься велика кількість ефірних масел, які в спиртових настойках прикрашають аромат і зменшують неприємні властивості алкоголю. Витяжка ефірних масел з насіння коріандру використовується в рецептах деяких марок джинів.
