Pleasant-tasting tablets used in animals against ticks, fleas and gastrointestinal nematodes. The drug is also used to prevent dirofilaria (Dirofilaria spp.) and angiostrongylus (Angiostrongylus vasorum).

Sarolaner is effective against adult fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.) as well as against some tick species such as Dermacentor reticulatus, Ixodes hexagonus, Ixodes ricinus and Rhipicephalus sanguineus.

After using the drug, ticks parasitizing the animal and new infestations die within 48 hours. For fleas, the beginning of the effective effect of the drug occurs 12-24 hours after application and lasts for 5 weeks. Fleas that have already parasitized the animal die 8 hours after using the drug.

Simparika TRIO kills new fleas on the dog before they can lay eggs, so it prevents the environment from becoming contaminated with fleas in areas the dog has access to. Moxidectin is active against Toxocara canis adults, L4 larvae and immature stages (L5) of Ancylostomacaninum, L4 Dirofilaria immitis and immature stages (L5) of Angiostrongylus vasorum. Pyrantel is active against immature stages (L5) and adults of Toxocara canis, adults of Ancylostomacaninum, Toxascaris leonina and Uncinaria stenocephala. In this fixed combination, moxidectin and pyrantel provide additional anthelmintic efficacy due to different mechanisms of action. In particular, both active substances contribute to the overall effectiveness against the gastrointestinal nematodes Ancylostoma caninum and Toxocara canis.
