V. Gauf Tales Book
Wilhelm Hauff is a German writer and short story writer. He was born in Stuttgart in 1802, into a large family. After graduating from university, he got a job as a tutor and mentor for the children of the Minister of Defense. It was for his beloved students that Gauff began writing his fairy tales. Immediately after their publication, the writer became famous. Mystical, sometimes scary, sometimes sad, these tales are liked by both children and adults, because Gauff is one of those few authors who knew how to turn ordinary legends about ghosts and the poor punishing the evil rich into magical, bright, memorable masterpieces that are interesting to read and to this day. Despite the fact that he died very young - at the age of 25, his literary legacy consists of three collections of fairy tales (one of which was published after his death), several novels and poems. These works forever inscribed the name of Wilhelm Hauff in the history of world literature.
