Silica gel is an environmentally friendly product, free of toxic substances, and chemically similar to regular sand (silicon dioxide). However, during special processing, the granules acquire unique properties: 150 grams of dry granules can absorb 100 ml of liquid. The moisture absorption process takes 3–4 seconds. The filler also perfectly neutralizes odors and can be used for about 2 weeks if solid waste is regularly removed from the litter box.

The granules do not form clumps or sticky masses, do not adhere to paws or fur, and do not produce dust when dry. The substance is hypoallergenic and does not cause irritation in animals or humans. The rounded shape of the granules does not injure the paws and speeds up the kittens' litter training.
